<p>UConn students participated in an hourly ’morale dance’  to keep the crowd excited during HuskyTHON 2011, an 18-hour dance marathon which was held on Feb 19 and 20.  This year’s effort raised an impressive $188,558.51 to support Connecticut Children’s Medical Center through the Children’s Miracle Network. The Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals. Since UConn’s participation in the program began in 2000, money raised has gone from an initial sum of $13,878 to this year’s grand total of almost $200,000. Photo by Lauren Cunningham   </p>
