New UConn undergraduates from overseas moved into the residence halls early and attended a three-day orientation last week to help get acclimated to living and studying at an American university. The orientation included visa information, technology sessions, and sessions on advising and registration, intercultural communication, gender communication, community standards, and Student Health Services, as well as social events and a shopping trip.
