Beginning Monday, Oct. 17, the UConn Daily Digest will provide the official biweekly notification that the Time and Attendance System (TAS) is available for use by employees and their supervisors. This replaces the listserv message that was previously sent to employees every other Tuesday.
The payroll department will send personalized reminders only if time records have not been completed and/or approved by the deadline.
Changes to the biweekly schedule due to holidays or unforeseen circumstances will also be communicated through the Daily Digest, and will be posted on the payroll department website at www.payroll.uconn.edu.
“Employees will still be sent a reminder to fill out their timecards, the only difference is that it will be part of the Daily Digest, rather than an individual email,” says Jennifer Person, director of payroll at UConn. “This is another way the University can reduce the number of mass emails it sends.”
