Basketball fans have a chance to become part of history by adding their names to the newly created “Wall of Champions” in the Werth Family UConn Basketball Champions Center.

Names of Husky fans will be listed on the “Wall of Champions” as part of the final enhancements to the building, which features displays, graphics and artwork depicting the proud history of both the men’s and women’s programs. A gift of $1,500, representing UConn’s combined 15 national championships, will secure a place on the wall.

The facility is the first building at the University financed entirely by private donations. Thirty-three million has been committed so far toward the $37 million fundraising goal.

The Werth Family UConn Basketball Champions Center, one of the preeminent basketball facilities in the country, opened in October 2014. The 78,000-square-foot state-of-the-art center boasts practice gyms, locker rooms, and coaches offices, as well as study areas, video rooms, and sports medicine and strength training spaces.
