The 2011 WNBA All-Star game in San Antonio on July 15 served as a reunion for six former Huskies. From left: Maya Moore'11 (CLAS) of the Minnesota Lynx, Renee Montgomery '09 (CLAS) of the Connecticut Sun, Diana Taurasi ''05 (CLAS) of the Phoenix Mercury, Tina Charles '10 (CLAS) of the Connecticut Sun, Sue Bird '02 (CLAS) and Swin Cash '02 (CLAS), both of the Seattle Storm. Cash was named the Most Valuable Player of the WNBA All-Star Game. During a separate ce4remony noting the league's 15th year, Bird and Taurasi were honored as two of the Top 15 players of all-time.
