Human Resources, through Know Better Place, hosted a fall festival for employees, students and volunteers at the Health Center Thursday. The Courtyard was transformed into a traditional fall fair for participants to take a break, have a tasty treat, mingle with co-workers and test their hand at some games.

The festivities included Pumpkin Palooza, a pumpkin decorating contest in which participants voted for their favorite pumpkin. Photos from the scavenger hunt competition “Husky Hunt” were also on big-screen display.

Alexis Crean with Human Resources says more than a thousand people attended the event which is only in its second year.

“It's all about the people,” says Crean. “We love hosting this festival because we believe our employees work hard and deserve to be able to stop and take some time for themselves and to also enjoy being with their colleagues.”
