The doors have opened at the new UConn Health medical offices at Storrs Center. Patients are able to see a variety of practitioners including primary care, occupational medicine, cardiology, orthopaedics, and general and plastic surgery. Patients will also be able to get x-rays and blood work done. Other services will be available later in the year including an Urgent Care Center and a dental clinic.

Dr. Denis Lafreniere, medical director of the UConn Medical Group, told NBC Connecticut that the services are available for everyone in the community, offering them access to university specialists without having to travel to Farmington.
