Students are reminded that President Susan Herbst’s office hours have been rescheduled and will now take place from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, in her Gulley Hall office.

Holding office hours for students is a tradition Herbst started when she came to UConn in 2011, and is a way for her to learn more about the needs and opinions of the student body.

The next session originally was scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Nov. 4, but has been moved to Monday, Nov. 10.

Reservations are not necessary, but guests are limited to UConn students.

Herbst has used what she’s learned from the sessions to help shape important programs and initiatives at the University, including the faculty hiring plan that has drawn scores of talented scholars to UConn while decreasing class sizes and offering more courses and sections, helping students get the classes they need to graduate on time.

Reminders about the President’s designated office hours will also be available to UConn students via the UConn Go page and UConn’s Facebook page.

Anyone with questions about the event is invited to call University Communications at 860-486-0871.
