Hello again UConn! Today I bring you the journey of senior Kevin Mastro. He is a biology and psychology major with a focus in behavioral neuroscience. Kevin has always been interested in biology and in high school was attracted to UConn’s vast research capabilities. Now as a senior, Kevin takes full advantage of the university’s unique opportunities to get hands-on field experience. He currently works in a lab studying Alzheimer’s Disease, which allows him to explore his interests outside the classroom.

In addition to assisting with research, Kevin is highly involved in the UConn Marching Band. He is one of three drum majors and is honored to lead the band during games and practices. Kevin is also part of Kappa Kappa Psi, a national honor fraternity for band members. His leadership skills and experience in the field are sure to light the way toward a bright future for this UConn Husky.
