Looking to add some holiday cheer to your dorm or office? The UConn Horticulture Club is selling poinsettias and other holiday plants in their annual sale.

The club members began growing the plants from plugs in August in the on-campus floriculture greenhouse.

“I think one of the biggest things I’ve noticed about this annual activity is it really has brought together the community,” Isabelle Hudson ’23 (CLAS), president of the Horticulture Club says. “It’s really nice to see how we impact the community around us and to see our plants around campus.”

The sale includes four-, six-, and eight-inch poinsettias with red, white, and pink flowers. The club is also selling cacti and succulents. The sale continues Thursday December 9 and Friday December 10, 2:30-6:00 PM in the Floriculture Building (formerly UConn Blooms) on Storrs Road.
