The University of Connecticut Office of the Provost is pleased to recognize faculty members across our campuses who have been awarded promotion and/or tenure. These honors reflect the University’s highest standards of excellence in scholarship, teaching, and service, and highlight the meaningful contributions our faculty make to their disciplines, students, and communities.

Promotion and tenure represent significant milestones in an academic career, acknowledging both past accomplishments and the potential for continued impact. The review process is rigorous and comprehensive, with applications evaluated at the department level, school or college level, and finally at the Office of the Provost before final recommendations are submitted to the Board of Trustees.

Achieving promotion or tenure requires sustained dedication and effort from each faculty member, along with the support of colleagues and administrative staff who help guide candidates through each stage of the process. In recognizing this year’s honorees, the University celebrates not only individual achievement but also the collective strength of its academic community.
