Make-up artist Russell Garuti was inspired to become a volunteer with the American Cancer Society’s Look Good Feel Better program after his mother died of cancer three years ago. Since that time, he’s made-over dozens of women who come away with more than just a pretty face, but a renewed feeling of optimism. See how Russell works his magic on cancer patient Victoria Brown who is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment at the Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center at UConn Health.
