When they arrived at UConn four years ago, the members of the Class of 2022 were part of the largest, most diverse, and most academically accomplished freshman class in the history of the University.<\/p>\n

They were accompanied by the usual hopeful words about overcoming challenges en route to a bright future, but no one could have known back in August 2018 exactly how imposing those challenges would be.<\/p>\n

But now, as they prepare to receive their degrees, along with graduate and professional students, all of that is on the road behind. What lies ahead? It’s up to them, but wherever their journeys lead, they’ll embark on them as graduates of the University of Connecticut.<\/p>\n

So congratulations – from Avery Point, from Farmington, from Hartford, from Stamford, from Storrs, from Waterbury, and from towns all over the state, nation, and world. You made it. Soon you’ll no longer be Students Today, but you’ll always be Huskies Forever.<\/p>\n
