In addition to UConn researchers and students, experts from the commercialization community will be on hand, including business development advisors, intellectual property lawyers, incubation experts, personnel from the UConn R&D Corporation and the Office of Technology Commercialization, officials from Connecticut Innovations and investors.<\/p>\n

Hosted by the Mechanical Engineering and the Chemical, Materials & Biomolecular Engineering Departments, this\u00a0month’s networking function will feature tours of faculty laboratories showcasing important research in diverse applications, from\u00a0microbial fuel cells\u00a0and novel drug delivery systems to\u00a0disease characterization,\u00a0nanosensing and other applications.<\/p>\n
