Posters are judged by a panel of faculty members, based on the scientific material being presented, how well founded the hypothesis is, and whether it is a scientifically reasonable project. The student is also judged on the graphics and layout of the poster, and how well he or she presents the material and answers questions.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_102851\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-102851\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/UCH_GradResearchDay_DSCN7930.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-102851 img-responsive lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/UCH_GradResearchDay_DSCN7930.jpg\" alt=\"(Stephanie Rauch\/UConn Health Photo)\" width=\"620\" height=\"413\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/UCH_GradResearchDay_DSCN7930.jpg 630w, https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/UCH_GradResearchDay_DSCN7930-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/UCH_GradResearchDay_DSCN7930-150x100.jpg 150w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 620px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 620\/413;\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-102851\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Dr. Royce Mohan reviews the research of Biomedical Science Ph.D. student April Masters (AoC: Immunology; PI: Dr. Laura Haynes).
