UConn has reason to be proud of everyone associated with the University who has served in the armed forces through the years. This group with UConn connections is currently serving in Kosovo where they proudly display the Husky banner. To them and to all who are currently serving at home and abroad, we say \u2018Thanks for your service.\u2019<\/p>\n

(L to R) CAPT Chris Barker is a graduate of Norwich University, but he was a Senior Military Science Instructor at UConn from May 2012 to July 2014, preparing future officers for the US Army. (And since he considers himself a \u2018Husky at heart\u2019 he was welcomed in the photo.)<\/p>\n
