Administrators are also reaching out to students from France and surrounding nations who are currently on campus to offer any assistance they might need.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUConn\u2019s campuses, like the entire world, are shocked and horrified by the terrorist attacks,\u201d said President Susan Herbst in a communication to the University community Nov. 14. \u201cOur hearts ache for the victims, for the people of France, and for all those who lost someone they love to this unspeakable and senseless brutality.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>UConn is an international institution, Herbst added, and is home to students, faculty, and staff from across the world.
