From a modest beginning supporting agriculture, it has evolved into a superb program distinguished by an outstanding faculty, state-of-the-art facilities\u2014with more on the way\u2014and the most academically accomplished students in UConn history.<\/p>\n<p>In keeping with UConn\u2019s mission as a land-grant university, the School of Engineering has rededicated itself to helping people live better lives and to helping business and industry flourish.
