February is American Heart Month. In honor of this year’s\u00a0National Go Red Day<\/a>\u00a0on Feb. 5, faculty and staff across UConn Health donned red clothing to raise awareness of cardiovascular diseases, the leading cause of death for both men and women. The national American Heart Association awareness day initiative was first launched in 2003.<\/p>\n
