{"id":110045,"date":"2016-03-07T11:05:24","date_gmt":"2016-03-07T16:05:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/?post_type=school-college-post&#038;p=110045"},"modified":"2016-03-07T11:10:22","modified_gmt":"2016-03-07T16:10:22","slug":"uconn-health-dermatologists-honored-by-the-american-academy-of-dermatology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/2016\/03\/uconn-health-dermatologists-honored-by-the-american-academy-of-dermatology\/","title":{"rendered":"UConn Health Dermatologists Honored by the American Academy of Dermatology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>UConn Health dermatologists, <a href=\"http:\/\/uconndocs.uchc.edu\/Home\/Physician?profileId=Strober-Bruce\">Dr. Bruce Strober<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/uconndocs.uchc.edu\/Home\/Physician?profileId=Grant-Kels-Jane\">Dr. Jane Grant-Kels<\/a>, were honored with Presidential Citations by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aad.org\/meetings\/annual-meeting\">American Academy of Dermatology<\/a> (AAD) at its annual meeting in Washington, DC on March 3.<\/p>\n<p>Strober and Grant-Kels received their awards from AAD President Dr. Mark Lebwohl at the annual meeting\u2019s Stars of the Academy Reception.<\/p>\n<p>Strober, professor and chair of the Department of Dermatology at UConn Health, was recognized for his dedication and significant contributions to promoting excellence in psoriasis research.
