His exhibit “Altered States” presents images that are not straight photographs; they have been digitally manipulated and digitally painted on. This practice, known as Post- Visualization, envisions the changes of an image after it is captured in the camera and downloaded to the computer. The process has changed the way he sees and thinks about his art. Bynes has been featured twice in the annual art show at the University of Arizona adult learning program and has been asked to start a digital photography course which will begin this winter. Brynes’ artwork will also be on display at the Celeste LeWitt Gallery through December 8.

UConn Health’s collection of fine art serves to enhance the environment and promote the sense of a caring community for patients, visitors, staff and students. Art is selected, acquired and exhibited by the UConn Health Art Advisory Committee.
