Dr. Andrea Gutierrez<\/a> is a family medicine physician seeing patients in Storrs Center<\/a>. She joins UConn Health from the Day Kimball Medical Group in northeastern Connecticut. Gutierrez completed a family practice residency at St. Elizabeth Hospital and holds a D.O. degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is board certified in family medicine.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Dr. Timothy Lishnak, family medicine (Photo by Janine Gelineau)<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/td>\n
Dr. Timothy Lishnak<\/a> is a family medicine physician who returns to UConn Health, where he not only graduated from the UConn School of Medicine, but also completed residency training in family medicine and fellowship training in sports medicine. He is board certified in both specialties. Lishnak sees patients in UConn Health\u2019s family medicine practice in the Outpatient Pavilion. His other areas of clinical interest include healthy aging, exercise promotion, and preventive care. Lishnak rejoins UConn Health from the University of Vermont Medical Center.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Dr. Clara Weinstock<\/a> is a primary care physician who sees patients at UConn Health\u2019s general medicine practice in the Outpatient Pavilion. She joins UConn from the Baystate Medical Center, where she completed a residency in internal medicine, primary care track, at the Tufts University School of Medicine. Weinstock earned a D.O. degree from the the A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and health disparities. Weinstock is board certified in internal medicine and speaks both English and Spanish.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Dr. Lenworth Ellis<\/a> is a primary care physician who sees patients in UConn Health\u2019s internal medicine practice in the Outpatient Pavilion. He joins UConn Health from private practice in Bloomfield, and brings expertise in preventive care, particularly cardiovascular disease prevention, as well as acute care and hospital medicine. Ellis completed an occupational medicine residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and an internal medicine residency at the Howard University Hospital. His medical degree is from the University of West Indies. Ellis is board certified in internal medicine.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Dr. Robert Nardino<\/a> is an internist who joins UConn Health as its internal medicine residency director. He arrives from Yale-New Haven Health, where he served in similar internal medicine residency program leadership roles. He graduated from the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago and completed residency at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. He is board certified in internal medicine and sees patients on the inpatient service of John Dempsey Hospital and at UConn Health\u2019s internal medicine practice in the Outpatient Pavilion.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Dr. Niko Broodie-Murray<\/a> is a primary care physician who is seeing patients in East Hartford<\/a>. She joins the faculty practice after completing her internal medicine residency training at UConn Health, during which time she saw patients at the Burgdorf\/Bank of American Health Center, a clinic for the underserved in Hartford\u2019s North End, and also worked with UConn endocrinologists to gain additional experience in diabetic care. She is a graduate of the SUNY Downstate Medical Center and the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at the CUNY City College of New York.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Dr. Viraj Modi<\/a> is a hospitalist with UConn John Dempsey Hospital. He comes to UConn Health from the University of South Florida, where he joined the faculty after completing a residency in internal medicine. Modi holds a D.O. degree from the A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine.
