She joins UConn Health from the Day Kimball Medical Group in northeastern Connecticut. Gutierrez completed a family practice residency at St. Elizabeth Hospital and holds a D.O. degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is board certified in both specialties. Lishnak sees patients in UConn Health\u2019s family medicine practice in the Outpatient Pavilion. His other areas of clinical interest include healthy aging, exercise promotion, and preventive care. She joins UConn from the Baystate Medical Center, where she completed a residency in internal medicine, primary care track, at the Tufts University School of Medicine. Weinstock earned a D.O. degree from the the A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and health disparities. He joins UConn Health from private practice in Bloomfield, and brings expertise in preventive care, particularly cardiovascular disease prevention, as well as acute care and hospital medicine. Ellis completed an occupational medicine residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and an internal medicine residency at the Howard University Hospital. His medical degree is from the University of West Indies. He arrives from Yale-New Haven Health, where he served in similar internal medicine residency program leadership roles. He graduated from the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago and completed residency at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. She joins the faculty practice after completing her internal medicine residency training at UConn Health, during which time she saw patients at the Burgdorf\/Bank of American Health Center, a clinic for the underserved in Hartford\u2019s North End, and also worked with UConn endocrinologists to gain additional experience in diabetic care.
