She is a member of the faculty of the philosophy department.<\/p>\n<p><em>In Memoriam<\/em><\/p>\n<p>John &#8220;Boardy&#8221; Boardman, 73, of Mansfield, Conn., the long-time equipment manager for the UConn football and baseball teams, on Jan. 21.<\/p>\n<p>Robert Druge, 58, of Coventry, Conn., a locksmith at UConn for 32 years before his retirement in April 2019, on Dec. 16.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas Godar, 89, a former professor in the School of Medicine, on Dec. 31.<\/p>\n<p>Josephine Harold, 94, of Willimantic, Conn., a former employee, on Jan. 19.<\/p>\n<p>David Kidwell, 79, of Annapolis, Md., who was the Dean of the School of Business from 1988-92, on Nov. 28.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Liapis, 59, who worked in UConn Dining Services, on Dec. 26.<\/p>\n<p>Louis Mendelson, 79, of Bloomfield, Conn., who taught at the School of Medicine, on Dec. 26.<\/p>\n<p>Bob Pakenham, 76, of Willimantic, Conn., who worked in the Athletic Ticket Office for over 20 years, on January 7.<\/p>\n<p>Patricia Sankey Imfeld Robinson, 85, of Brunswick, Maine, a physical education instructor at UConn from 1953-75, on Jan. 1.<\/p>\n<p>Olive Shea, 93, of Columbia, Conn., who had a 30-year career in Student Health Services, on Dec. 27.<\/p>\n<p>Maria Williams, 62, of Windsor, Conn., who retired as an administrative assistant in the Foreign Student Admissions Department after 30 years, on Dec. 13.<\/p>\n<p>Elaine Witherell, 81, of Winthrop, Maine, who retired as a secretary at UConn, on Dec. 29.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you would like to submit a passing, retirement, notable birthday, achievement or a family event of a UConn employee or retiree for consideration, please email to work@uconn.edu.
