The UConn Dance Company, which began life as Dance Works in 2008, is a venue for creative, talented, and passionate dancers on campus who together produce regular shows at UConn’s Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts. The students design every aspect of every show, from music and choreography to staging and lighting. At any given show, you might see dance styles ranging from hip hop to ballet, musical theater to jazz, and everything in between.<\/p>\n

The company presented its Winter Showcase at the Jorgensen on Feb. 4, 2020, and University Photographer Sean Flynn was on hand to capture some of the thrilling and beautiful dance that took place.<\/p>\n
