Free Infant Massage Program Session Starts
\nTuesday, March 3, 9:30 to 11 a.m.<\/strong>, UConn Health West Hartford, 65 Kane St.
\n<\/strong>Mothers, fathers and other caregivers are welcome to join the next five-week session<\/a> with their infants up to 6 months old. Led by a UConn Health parent educator of infant massage, this session runs Tuesdays through March 31<\/strong>. Please plan to attend all five sessions and learn about the benefits of nurturing touch in a supportive group environment. Examples of discussion topics include MS disease overview, disease-modifying therapies, coping methods, support systems, guest speakers and resources, and caregiver support. \nIn partnership with the Brain Aneurysm Foundation, UConn Health now offers an educational setting to provide support for patients and survivors of brain aneurysm, as well as caregivers, family and friends. Attendees will discuss recovery topics and learn about helpful resources, all in an environment to foster reassurance and personal exchange.
