Greetings, UConn Nation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I want to extend my personal thanks to the many parents, alumni, and friends who have checked in and asked how you can help during the coronavirus (COVID-19) public health crisis. It shows how, as a community, <\/span>we’re truly in this together.<\/a> <\/span><\/p>\n

Our top priorities right now are addressing the needs of students and equipping UConn Health to meet the demands of this rapidly developing situation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We need your support today for two funds that can help: the <\/span>Students First Fund<\/a><\/b> and the <\/span>Fund for UConn Health<\/a>. <\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Students First Fund<\/span><\/b>
\nThis fund helps UConn provide items to meet students\u2019 needs following unforeseen circumstances or unanticipated hardships, such as illness, a death in the family, loss of employment, fire, flood, and other misfortunes. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Your gift can help us put every effort behind getting our students home and providing services to students who cannot go home because of resources, travel bans, or other situations.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Fund for UConn Health<\/span><\/b>
\nThe Fund for UConn Health provides discretionary funding to address immediate needs that arise for the patient care, research, and academic programs across UConn Health. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Your gift can help our doctors and nurses, who are on the front line responding to the coronavirus.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
