Formally trained in chemical and mechanical engineering disciplines, Chaudhuri focuses on solving problems of pharmaceutical significance with engineering approaches.<\/p>\n<p>Chaudhuri came to UConn in 2007 as assistant professor, in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Institute of Materials Science. Hritcko&#8217;s clinical focus has been in community pharmacy and as a certified anticoagulation care provider (CACP) in an ambulatory care practice setting.<\/p>\n<p>Hritcko is an active member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) where he was Speaker of the House of Delegates from 2013-15.\u00a0 He is also an AACP Fellow and participated in the 2008-2009 AACP Academic Leadership Fellows Program and is a past chair of the AACP Experiential Education Section. (Sean Flynn\/UConn Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pharmacy.uconn.edu\/person\/diana-sobieraj\/\"><strong>Diana Sobieraj, Pharm.D.<\/strong><\/a>, has been promoted from assistant professor to associate professor with tenure in the <a href=\"https:\/\/pharmacy.uconn.edu\/department-of-pharmacy-practice\/\">Department of Pharmacy Practice<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sobieraj came to UConn in 2007 and is a leading member of UConn&#8217;s Health Outcomes, Policy, and Evidence Synthesis (<a href=\"https:\/\/pharmacy.uconn.edu\/hopes\/\">HOPES<\/a>) group which codifies collective strength in outcomes research including systematic review and meta-analysis, economic modeling, clinical trials, and observational research. In 2017, Dr. Sobieraj received the esteemed\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/school-stories\/diana-sobieraj-receives-prestigious-new-investigator-award-aacp\/\">New Investigator Award<\/a> from the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) for her research program. Her teaching expertise includes evidence-based clinical practice, drug literature evaluation , and adult internal medicine.
