In light of the dire consequences this health crisis has had on many of their fans and their communities, the Travelers Championship will be saluting frontline health care workers during the tournament\u2019s four rounds of competition June 25-28.<\/p>\n
As a special thank you, they will be selecting health care workers in Connecticut who have risked their lives caring for COVID-19 patients and feature their name on the back of each caddie\u2019s bib, alongside their respective player\u2019s name. Each player will also carry a photo of the health care worker and their story about their experiences during the pandemic.<\/p>\n
This year the Travelers Championship PGA TOUR will look different being conducted without on-site crowds.\u00a0 The event will be broadcast by CBS and the Golf Channel June 25-28.\u00a0 Even if you are not a golf fan, you may see some familiar names this year as eleven colleagues from UConn Health have been selected to participate in the PGA TOUR Caddie Bib Program.<\/p>\n
