Photo by Frank Dahlmeyer<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The paperback edition of Gina Barreca&#8217;s latest book, <em>It\u2019s Not That I\u2019m Bitter \u2026 or How I Learned to Stop Worrying About Visible Panty Lines and Conquered The World,<\/em> has just been published by St. Martin\u2019s Press.<\/p>\n<p>A professor of English literature and feminist theory in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.clas.uconn.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">College of Liberal Arts and Sciences<\/a>, Barreca is a nationally known author and humorist who writes a blog for the <em>Chronicle of Higher Education<\/em> and a weekly column, with Larry Cohen, for <em>The Hartford Courant<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.uconnmagazine.uconn.edu\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\"><em>UCONN Magazine<\/em><\/a> editor Ken Best met with her for a serious discussion about humor and her new book.
