When can we end the indoor masking policy?

A: The university believes that widespread vaccinations among students and employees and the indoor masking policy have both played a major role in keeping positive cases on UConn’s campuses so low. Given the continued unpredictability of COVID-19 and the prevalence of the Delta variant, and the “breakthrough” infections associated with it, keeping UConn’s alert level at orange and maintaining the indoor masking policy is the prudent thing to do at this time to help keep our community healthy and the number of cases on our campuses low.

Q: Is there a central hub where UConn COVID-19 resources can be found?

A: Yes: our main COVID-19 website.

Q: What are the most up-to-date policies regarding hosting visitors on campus?

A: They can be found here.

Q: What do we do if there are positive cases in the workplace?

A: Here is a reference guide for COVID-19 cases in the workplace. Here is a reference guide for managers of COVID-19 exposed or symptomatic employees.

Q: What is the most up to date travel guidance for employees?

A: The most up-to-date travel guidance can be found here.

Q: Does UConn have guidance for vendors and contractors to follow when on campus?

A: Yes, and it can be found here.

Q: If I have COVID-19-related questions and can’t find the answers on the website, is there a number I can call or someone I can e-mail?

A: Yes.
