The competition calls students to effectively explain their research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to an intelligent non-specialist audience.<\/p>\n<p>This year five students from <a href=\"https:\/\/bahal.lab.uconn.edu\">The Bahal Research Lab<\/a> were selected as finalists for the 3MT thesis final competition. In addition to Sai Pallavi Pradeep (first-year grad student), the four other students selected as a finalist for their excellent work were:\u00a0Shahab Edalatian\u00a0Zakeri (first year);\u00a0Vishal Kasina (second year);\u00a0Aniket Wahane (third year); and,\u00a0Karishma Dhuri (fourth year).<\/p>\n<p>A recording of Pradeep&#8217;s presentation is below.
