Mechanical Engineering, \u201984; Hon.D.Sc. \u201807) was appointed to the board of directors of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chc.ca\/\">CHC Group Ltd.<\/a> (HELI) and will serve as chairman. Initially, he will also serve on the company&#8217;s newly created Chairman Search Committee. Krenicki joined <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cdr-inc.com\/professionals\/partners.php\">CD&amp;R<\/a> in 2013 after a 29-year career at General Electric. He currently serves as chairman of Wilsonart International, chairman of The ServiceMaster Company and lead director of Brand Energy &amp; Infrastructure Services, Inc.\u00a0 He holds an M.S. in Management from Purdue University.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: black; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">##<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: black; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Moore Engineering, founded by <\/span>Wade Moore, a recent graduate of\u00a0UConn, was recently named\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;Murphy&#8217;s Monday Manufacturer&#8221; by U.S. Senator Chris Murphy. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\"><span style=\"color: black;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Moore, 23, who graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering,<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: black;\">\u00a0founded the company in 2010 after being inspired by his great-grandfather, Richard Moore, who established the well-known Moore Special Tool Company. Today, Moore Engineering is based in Milford and operates out of an 800-square-foot facility and is run by Wade with the part-time help of his three brothers. Santos<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Manuel A. Santos (B.S. Mechanical Engineering, \u201899) was elected mayor of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofmeriden.org\/Content\/Office_of_Mayor\/\">City of Meriden<\/a>, Connecticut in December 2013. When elected, Santos was a senior mechanical design engineer at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ultra-msi.com\/index.html\">Ultra Electronics, Measurement Systems Inc.<\/a> in Wallingford, CT. Prior to that position, he was a design engineer with Ripley Tools, formerly a division of Capewell Components Co.
