A special education major in the Neag School, Dorcas Kungu-Brown found a community of support from her fellow students and professors at UConn, which helped equip her with knowledge, wisdom, and professional skills. Her advice to incoming UConn students is to stay focused and to believe in yourself – and to visit the Dairy Bar, of course.<\/p>\n
Why did you choose UConn?<\/strong><\/p>\n I chose UConn because of the diversity of students and because it is a university with a great education program.<\/p>\n Did you have a favorite professor or class?<\/strong><\/p>\n Oh yes! \nMy plan after graduation is to work and gain experience working with students in outplacement programs and to get ABA Board certified.<\/p>\n
