Diane Covello has been promoted to clinical professor and Richard Luedeman to associate clinical professor. Anne Rajotte and Elisabeth Umpleby have been promoted to librarian 4 and Maryanne Daly-Doran to librarian 2.<\/p>\n<p>Covello and Luedeman are among 96 UConn faculty members recently granted a promotion, tenure or both at the recommendation of the Office of the Provost and by vote of the University\u2019s Board of Trustees.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are extremely proud of these five outstanding colleagues,\u201d Dean Eboni S. Nelson said. \u201cDiane Covello and Richard Luedeman are excellent teachers who help prepare students for meaningful careers. Anne Rajotte, Elisabeth Umpleby and Maryanne Daly-Doran are skilled librarians who provide invaluable assistance to our faculty, students and patrons. She is also a\u00a0 patent attorney with the law firm of Alix, Yale &amp; Ristas LLP and holds two U.S. patents related to intellectual property insurance. He also chairs the Clerkships Committee. He has written amicus briefs in support of transgender rights and has a forthcoming paper on health plan coverage for gender-affirming care. Meskill Law Library, overseeing research services and providing general and in-depth reference services in all areas of the law as well as teaching Advanced Legal Research. She holds a JD from Boston College Law School and an MLS from Southern Connecticut State University.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/law.uconn.edu\/person\/elisabeth-umpleby\/\">Umpleby<\/a> is the law library\u2019s head of technical services and manages the day-to-day operations of acquisitions, serials, cataloging and electronic resources, as well as assisting in providing research educational services to the law school community. She provides reference services, research assistance and instruction to all library patrons.
