{"id":201485,"date":"2017-10-16T11:07:11","date_gmt":"2017-10-16T15:07:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/?p=201485"},"modified":"2023-07-19T11:34:42","modified_gmt":"2023-07-19T15:34:42","slug":"campbell-named-co-editor-journal-of-science-teacher-education","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/2017\/10\/campbell-named-co-editor-journal-of-science-teacher-education\/","title":{"rendered":"Campbell Named Co-Editor, Journal of Science Teacher Education"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/education.uconn.edu\/person\/todd-campbell\/\">Todd Cambpell<\/a>, professor of science education, has been named co-editor of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/theaste.org\/publications\/jste\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Journal of Science Teacher Education<\/em><\/a><em>\u00a0(JSTE)<\/em>, the flagship journal of the Association for Science Teacher Education (ASTE).<\/p>\n<p>As the only English-language journal focused exclusively on science teacher education,\u00a0<em>JSTE<\/em>\u00a0disseminates research and theoretical position papers concerning preservice and in-service education of science teachers, including articles offering ways to improve classroom teaching and learning; professional development; and teacher recruitment and retention at preK-16 levels<sup>[1]<\/sup>. It is published online eight times a year and in print on a quarterly basis by Taylor &amp; Francis.<\/p>\n<p>Also joining the new editorial team are Campbell\u2019s fellow co-editors University of Colorado at Denver\u2019s Geeta Verma and Lakehead University\u2019s Wayne Melville.
