Taking the skills she acquired in curriculum development, engagement, and lesson planning\u00a0as\u00a0a student in the Neag School\u2019s five-year\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/education.uconn.edu\/teacher-education\/\">Integrated Bachelor\u2019s\/Master\u2019s program<\/a>, she has successfully\u00a0applied\u00a0them in a marketing setting \u2014 today serving as CEO and founder of Las Vegas-based startup\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/catalystcreativ.com\/\">CatalystCreativ<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI think that being a teacher is one of the most profound jobs available to anyone. I think everyone should try to be a teacher. \u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This month,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/teach.com\/\">Teach.com<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 an educational web\u00a0resource for information on becoming a great teacher in any state across the country \u2014\u00a0features Slavin\u00a0in its \u201c8 Questions\u201d series,\u00a0which\u00a0showcases teachers who have transitioned their classroom skills into new and exciting careers in, and beyond, the field of education.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think that being a teacher is one of the most profound jobs available to anyone.
