As a Boeing intern,\u00a0I developed the auto-landing control law simulation models for stability analysis on the 737 MAX, a new airplane project scheduled to be delivered in 2017. With many new structural and control enhancements on the 737 MAX, Boeing engineers have to\u00a0configure the control laws to adapt these new features and demonstrate their stability and reliability through robust simulation to ensure the safety of this new airplane.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He elaborated, \u201cAutopilot, in general, controls both the lateral (yaw and roll) motion and the longitudinal (pitch) motion.
