Forbes and research firm Statista recently ranked the best places to work in each<\/a> state based on employee survey responses, and UConn was scored as the sixth-best place to work in Connecticut, higher than any other university or college.<\/p>\n \u201cAs a global institution, our faculty and\u00a0staff\u00a0represent all corners of the world,\u201d according to UConn\u2019s Division of Human Resources. \u201cUConn strives to empower and celebrate its employees by fostering an atmosphere of belonging and inclusion.\u201d<\/p>\n Initiatives like the Spirit Awards<\/a>, Faculty and Staff Appreciation Week<\/a>, and the Years of Service Recognition<\/a> program help create a sense of togetherness and loyalty among UConn\u2019s nearly 10,000 employees, along with the University\u2019s robust commitment<\/a> to the promotion of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in all that it does.<\/p>\n
