It is just one of five Connecticut hospitals to be named best-in-state in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>In both 2023 and 2022 UConn John Dempsey Hospital was recognized as a\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/2023\/03\/uconn-john-dempsey-hospital-named-worlds-best-hospital-by-newsweek\/\">World\u2019s Best Hospital<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in the United States by Newsweek and Statista.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are so grateful for the excellence and dedication of our entire team of hospital providers, nurses, and staff in caring for our state\u2019s citizens, always providing them with the very best safety and patient care experience possible,\u201d says Caryl Ryan, RN, Chief Operating Officer for UConn John Dempsey Hospital and UConn Health\u2019s Chief Nursing Officer.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s America&#8217;s Best-In-State Hospitals list recognizes 600 leading hospitals across the nation. According to Newsweek,\u00a0America\u2019s Best-In-State Hospitals\u00a0ranking was created to identify the top hospitals at the state level.
