John Andresakis<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

John Andresakis (M.S. Chemical Engineering, \u201981) has been appointed director of Technical Marketing at Park Electrochemical Corporation<\/a>.\u00a0 In this position, he will assist customers in selecting and implementing the company\u2019s high performance materials.\u00a0 Since 1998, Andresakis worked at Oak-Mitsui, Inc., serving most recently as vice president of Strategic Technology.\u00a0 Named as inventor for\u00a0eight issued U.S. patents, he has extensive patent, trademark, contracts and licensing experience.<\/p>\n

Paul Dul<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Paul Dul (B.S. Mechanical Engineering\/Materials Engineering, \u201888) joined Apcera, maker of the world’s first operating system for the hybrid cloud<\/a>, as vice president of Product.\u00a0 Dul brings more than 20 years of product management and leadership experience.\u00a0 Previously, he was vice president of Product at Embrane and led the product management team at Andiamo Systems.\u00a0 Earlier in his career, Dul headed product management for Cisco’s $3 billion Catalyst 5000 product line.\u00a0 He earned masters\u2019 degrees in engineering and management from MIT.<\/p>\n

James Kane<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

James Kane (Ph.D. Mechanical Engineering, \u201986), associate professor of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering, was named professor emeritus at Clarkson University’s<\/a> 122nd<\/sup> commencement ceremony in May.\u00a0 He was honored for more than 25 years of exemplary service to the university.\u00a0 In addition to his classroom instruction, Kane wrote 42 articles in professional journals and is the author of \u201cBoundary Element Analysis, in Engineering Continuum Mechanics.\u201d He also co-edited two academic books.<\/p>\n

Joe Rimiller<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Joe Rimiller, P.E., P.T.O.E. (B.S., Civil Engineering, \u201901; M.S. Transportation & Urban Engineering, \u201803) joined BETA Group Inc.<\/a> as a senior project engineer.\u00a0 A registered Professional Engineer in Connecticut and also a registered Professional Traffic Operations Engineer, Rimiller will focus on traffic signal design and traffic impact studies.\u00a0 He serves as secretary\/treasurer of the Connecticut Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.<\/p>\n
