The UConn School of Law is preparing to grant nearly 200 students JD, LLM, and SJD degrees. The Class of 2025 comes from across the country and the world, bringing diverse experiences to the UConn Law community. They now prepare to bring those experiences and the ones they had during law school into the legal profession. Nine graduating students shared their stories:<\/p>\n

\"PaulPaul Alderete<\/a> was exposed to the intersection of law, policy, philosophy, and science in undergraduate cross-curricular classes. That curiosity is growing into a legal career.<\/p>\n

\"Kim Kimberly Luciano<\/a> said the evening program is “not for the weak,” but that she found solidarity and support within her cohort. She is proud to be included in this group of such hard-working, multi-faceted, amazing people.<\/p>\n

\"ElinorElinor Schneider<\/a> felt UConn Law gave her a place she was safe to step outside of her comfort zone and become the kind of lawyer and person she wanted to be.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dan<\/span>iel Jaramillo Delgado<\/span><\/span><\/a> was struck by how much people within the UConn Law community care about each other and will always carry the friendships he made with people from all over the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sin\u00e9ad<\/span> Brennan-Gatica <\/span><\/a>says <\/span>characters played by Joe Pesci and Reese Witherspoon <\/span>may have originally <\/span>inspired <\/span>her <\/span>to go to law school<\/span>, but in the end the deci<\/span>sion came from seeing friends and family go through the immigration system.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sebastian Torres<\/span><\/a> found many rewarding experiences <\/span>at UConn Law <\/span>came from simply asking <\/span>for a chance t<\/span>o follow through on an idea.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Brice Ashf<\/span>ord <\/span><\/a>took advantage of the many student organizations at UConn Law, joining the Arts, Entertainment<\/span> & <\/span>Sports Law Society; the Student Bar Association; the B<\/span>lack Law Students Association; and the Connecticut Moot Court B<\/span>oard.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Johanna Weber<\/span><\/a>\u2019s best memories at UConn Law revolve around the people she has met here, who will always have a special place in her heart.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sarina <\/span>Bhar<\/span>gava<\/span><\/a> found at UConn Law that she, like everyone else here<\/span> of varying backgrounds and ident<\/span>ities<\/span>, belong<\/span>s<\/span> in the legal profession<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
