The Connecticut Chapter of the American College of Physicians (CT ACP) awarded Dr. Jaclyn Olsen Jaeger<\/a>, associate professor in the UConn School of Medicine and geriatrician in the UConn Center on Aging<\/a>, the Early Career Physician Teaching Award for her outstanding work as an educator of medical students and internal medicine residents.<\/p>\n

The award honors physicians at the associate professor level or below, who have shown outstanding commitment to medical education. Honorees must be active members of the chapter and stand out as educators of medical students or internal medicine residents.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m honored to receive the ACP Connecticut Chapter Early Career Physician Teaching Award. Teaching is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work at UConn, and I\u2019m deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute to medical education every day. This award is also a testament to the incredible mentors and inspiring educators who have helped shape my journey \u2013 especially Dr. Rebecca Andrews<\/a>, whose guidance and support have been instrumental throughout my career,\u201d says Olsen Jaeger.<\/p>\n

Olsen Jaeger accepted the award at the CT ACP chapter meeting Oct. 10.<\/p>\n
