UConn climbed to No. 25 in the 2026 Online MBA program rankings, up from No. 33 last year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe School of Business was highly intentional in the development of our online MBA courses, prioritizing accessibility without compromising quality,\u2019\u2019 said <strong>Mia Hawlk<\/strong>, Executive Director of UConn\u2019s MBA programs. \u201cThose deliberate efforts continue to pay dividends for our program and, most importantly, for our students.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The UConn OMBA program also ranked No. 13 in academic experience, as rated by students. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is arguably harder to foster an engaged and collaborative class when students are studying remotely, but the rankings indicate that our faculty are particularly adept at and committed to an exceptional learning experience,\u2019\u2019 Hawlk said.<\/p>\n<p>The School of Business currently serves 750 students pursuing an MBA through  online or hybrid programs. <\/p>\n<p>In November, the School announced plans to create a <a href=\"https:\/\/mba.business.uconn.edu\/mba-programs\/one-year-mba\/\">One-Year MBA<\/a>, a fast-track alternative that offers the same coursework, rigor, and faculty instruction as the existing programs, but it can be completed in about half the time.
