The Blood and Marrow Transplantation team of UConn Health proudly presented three research posters at the 2026 Transplantation & Cellular Therapy Meetings of the ASTCT and CIBMTR, known as The Tandem Meetings, in Salt Lake City this February.<\/p>\n

The Tandem Meetings are a multidisciplinary event highlighting the latest research and breakthroughs in the evolving field of hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT), cellular therapy and gene therapy. The event gathers together members of The\u00a0American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(ASTCT) and the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research<\/strong><\/a> (CIBMTR).<\/p>\n

The meeting was attended by over 4,000 attendees and additionally over 1,300 virtually.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am incredibly proud of this team and their accomplishments,\u201d applauds Dr. Kapil Meleveedu, <\/strong>assistant professor of Medicine at UConn School of Medicine and director of the Blood and Marrow Transplantation at UConn Health.<\/p>\n
