Representing a wide range of specialties, the honored physicians were selected through a rigorous peer-review process conducted in collaboration with Castle Connolly, a leading independent healthcare research organization.<\/p>\n
Doctors are nominated by other physicians, and researchers evaluate factors such as hospital and academic appointments, research activity, professional reputation, and patient outcomes. The final list represents about the top 7% of practicing physicians in the United States.<\/p>\n
