{"id":247552,"date":"2026-06-12T07:10:58","date_gmt":"2026-06-12T11:10:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/?p=247552"},"modified":"2026-06-15T08:27:03","modified_gmt":"2026-06-15T12:27:03","slug":"emmy-for-uconn-healths-human-anatomy-lab-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/2026\/06\/emmy-for-uconn-healths-human-anatomy-lab-video\/","title":{"rendered":"Emmy for UConn Health\u2019s Human Anatomy Lab Video"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the second time in three years, UConn Health\u2019s video team is the winner of an Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Boston\/New England Chapter.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant Director Carolyn Pennington and multimedia specialists Ethan Giorgetti and Ryan Bernat won in the \u201cEducation\/Schools \u2013 Short and Long Form Content\u201d category for their video \u201cUConn\u2019s Human Anatomy Lab: Honoring Life Through Learning,\u201d released last fall.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"UConn&#039;s Human Anatomy Lab: Honoring Life Through Learning\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Ml1FhkIFpQo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe really appreciate the directors and professors who work in the Human Anatomy Lab and the students who participated in the video,\u201d Pennington says. \u201cThey were extremely accommodating especially considering the conditions in which we were shooting \u2013 it\u2019s not the typical healthcare setting. We were definitely mindful of the respect and reverence the students have for the donors who have given such a lasting and meaningful gift.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Giorgetti and Bernat are videographers and editors, and Pennington directs and produces.
