Participants engage in interdisciplinary discussions on some of engineering&#8217;s most pressing challenges and promising technological advances while building collaborations that often shape future research and innovation.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:false,&quot;134233118&quot;:false,&quot;335559738&quot;:240,&quot;335559739&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Since joining UConn in 2020, Wang has\u00a0established\u00a0an internationally recognized research program focused on advanced functional materials and intelligent systems. Her lab develops stimuli-responsive materials, flexible and bio-integrated electronics, magnetically responsive structures, and soft robotic technologies that have applications ranging from healthcare and wearable devices to next-generation robotics and advanced manufacturing.
