{"id":31158,"date":"2011-03-18T11:04:40","date_gmt":"2011-03-18T15:04:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/?p=31158"},"modified":"2011-05-31T12:41:37","modified_gmt":"2011-05-31T16:41:37","slug":"students-invited-to-audition-for-new-nesn-game-show","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/2011\/03\/students-invited-to-audition-for-new-nesn-game-show\/","title":{"rendered":"Students Invited to Audition for New NESN Game Show"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>UConn freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are invited to audition to take part in a new reality game show \u2013 <em>Schooled<\/em> \u2013 that will air this fall on New England Sports Network (NESN) during Red Sox games.<\/p>\n<p>Auditions will be held on Monday, March 21 and Tuesday, March 22 in the Student Union\u2019s North Lobby between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Auditioning will take only a few minutes. Students may show up at any time during those hours.<\/p>\n<p>According to NESN, <em>Schooled<\/em> is a new reality television series that pits students from eight different New England universities against each other in a battle of brainpower. In each episode, two teams of three students from two different colleges will compete in academic and intelligence-based challenges.
