The beauty of the School of Law, the Health Center, the five regional campuses, and the main campus in Storrs is featured in these visually arresting expressions of UConn.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe posters draw attention to the charm and character of all our campuses,\u201d says Jim Walter, associate vice president of university communications.<\/p>\n<p>Timeless in their content, the release of these keepsake posters is occurring at a time when pride and excitement in the University is building.<\/p>\n<p>Each poster is a composite of different images that are not necessarily the most immediately recognizable features at each campus; and because these are cropped, part of the posters\u2019 appeal comes from encouraging speculation about exactly what is being represented and where it is located.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_48168\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-48168\" style=\"width: 195px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/dimensions.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-48168  img-responsive lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/dimensions-201x300.jpg\" alt=\"Dimensions, one of three posters showing aspects of UConn's art and architecture.\" width=\"195\" height=\"291\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/dimensions-201x300.jpg 201w, https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/dimensions-281x420.jpg 281w, https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/dimensions-67x100.jpg 67w, https:\/\/today.uconn.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/dimensions.jpg 335w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 195px) 100vw, 195px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 195px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 195\/291;\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-48168\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Dimensions.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWe made choices that were fun, and some that would challenge the viewer,\u201d Walter says, \u201cmaking people think, \u2018I\u2019ve seen that and I just don\u2019t know where.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe posters are purposely not specific to a year or an event,\u201d he adds. \u201cThey will have some staying power.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Available either individually or as a collection, each full-color 2\u20196\u201d x 1\u20196\u201d poster features about a dozen images that relate to each other graphically. For example, the poster labeled \u201cAccents\u201d juxtaposes images of interesting portions of various facilities. The joined images in \u201cPerspectives\u201d encompass ornamental enhancements that distinguish a variety of buildings.
