The goal of these awards is to help faculty in all disciplines to better position themselves to apply for and receive extramural funding for their research and scholarly activities.<\/p>\n<p>For the fall 2011 Faculty Large Grant competition, the Research Advisory Council received 59 proposals, and made 35 awards totaling more than $602,000.
